More than 80 pro-Palestinian protesters converged at a Scranton intersection and outside President Joe Biden's boyhood home during his event at the Scranton Cultural Center, vocalizing criticism of his policies with chants like "Biden, Biden, you can't hide, we charge you with genocide."

According to protester Alec Walker-Serrano, the group, which had initially gathered at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel and marched downtown, aimed to be heard by Biden as he passed, receiving occasional support from honking cars.

Protests in Scranton, Pennsylvania followed another public disruption incident where protesters advocating for the Palestinian cause blocked the roadway leading to Terminal 1 at O'Hare Airport on Monday morning, resulting in traffic disruptions.
